The Co-operative store in Winterbourne is open again after it was damaged in a cash point attack.  Thieves struck at around 3.30am on 5 May.  The force of the explosion blew away much of the suspended ceiling inside the store and quantity of cash was taken.
The ATM outside the Natwest Bank, around 50 metres away was also targeted.  A car was seen leaving the area shortly afterwards.
The Co-op was shut for almost a week as builders refurbished the store.
A week later an ATM in Yate was targeted.  The Tesco Express on Station Road was attacked in another early morning explosion which badly damaged the store.
