ALTHOUGH Pucklechurch may be more well-known for its annual beer festival and Her Majesty’s ‘hotel’ it has supported an enthusiastic ladies’ hockey team since 1974, when Dyrham & Hinton club (founded in 1967) changed their name to reflect that they were playing in the village.
